Dean Browne is a media consultant, researcher and creative practitioner working across communication strategy, visual storytelling and the politics of representation. Through Lucidity Media, he connects two decades of digital media experience with an independent practice in research, writing and image-making.

His professional background spans international agency networks to bring a practical understanding of how partners turn ideas into communication—and how the structures behind the communication shape its meaning - from a critical realist perspective.

Alongside consultancy, Dean’s research examines visual culture, media ethics and technological power. His MA research explored activist documentary and countervisual storytelling using digital platforms.

Alongside BerkuDim, Dean’s art and writing extend research enquiries into justice, interculturality and the ethics of looking.

Across commercial and independent work, his approach centres on lucidity: making space for clear thinking, questioning familiar narratives and finding considered ways to communicate and express complex ideas.
